When Kate Middleton made her first Royal Engagement last month she made quite an impression. Not only did she "fascinate" people with her choice of her headpiece, but she endeared herself to the local community by showing off her language skills and singing in their native tongue!
First: TLC has the story on the headpiece: Let's be clear here: A fascinator is not a hat (though Kate loves those, too). It's a small headpiece made from feathers and other materials that women wear pinned to their heads. Courtesy TLC. Click link for full post on the FASCINATOR.

Not to be outdone - HelloMagazine.com has video of William and Kate's visit, along with their own critique of what the princess-to-be was wearing.
Kate Middleton recycled an outfit that's been in her wardrobe for some time for her first royal engagement on Thursday.
Embodying British style in a tailored, herringbone coat, the princess-to-be revealed her thrifty side at the RNLI lifeboat naming ceremony in Anglesey.
She had previously been photographed wearing the coat by Wiltshire-based designer Katherine Hooker in 2006 at the Cheltenham Gold cup equestrian event. Click link below for full story from HelloMagazine.com
