Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton arrive at a service of dedication for a new RNLI lifeboat at Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Station in Anglesey, Wales, Thursday Feb. 24, 2011. The visit had been highly anticipated because the couple have kept such a low profile since announcing their engagement in November, making only one other prior appearance at a charity event. Making Your Own Wedding Cake Is Fun And Exciting
Start your plans ahead of time so you do not have to be stressed at the last minute. Check recipes to make sure you have all the ingredients you will need. Make sure you know the flavor you want for the cakes while also thinking about the best tasting icing as well. These are two of the most important decisions about this project you have to make.
Many people have recipes for their favorite icing. However, you can visit a bakery shop to get some great selections ready to use. While at the bakery, make sure you get the square pans you may need for creating the unique masterpiece. The baker can help you in choosing the right ingredients and let you know if you are missing an important part.
One way to help you remain organized throughout the planning of your ceremony is by making check lists. This is especially true for the ingredients and items needed for making cakes. You should look through online websites for the exact type of cake you would like to have. This will help you to know the pans to get, whether square or round, the colors you will need, and the other vital ingredients.
Those unusual cakes you might have seen were made using a square pan. This is a great way to add a dimensional difference to your creation without it being hard to do. Check the bakery shop about the pans you need for making your sweet creation.
Many designs are out there for these types of cakes that are out of this world and sensational. Indeed, the cake you want will need to fit into theme of the entire ceremony. Many couples have made the ceremony around a certain design in cakes they favored.

The Official Invitation
The Royal Invitations
Sarah Ferguson is Not Invited to The Wedding
Sarah Ferguson has not been invited to the Royal wedding.
About 1,900 invitations have been sent to family, dignitaries, charity workers and friends of Prince William and Kate Middleton but the Duchess of York was snubbed, royal aides confirmed yesterday.
Friends of 51-year-old Fergie claimed she ‘never expected’ to be asked and would have missed the ceremony anyway owing to ‘private plans overseas’.
She is also understood to have been reluctant to go to the ceremony ‘alone’. As cousins of William, her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are expected to sit at the front of Westminster Abbey while their mother, who divorced Andrew 15 years ago, would have been much further back. Royal Invitations Are In The Mail
Start watching the postbox! ABCNews has learned that invitations to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton went out from the Lord Chamberlain's office on Thursday. Of course, most of the guests already know who they are since many of them received a save-the-date fax from the Queen a few weeks ago. The 1,800 invitees will receive a "traditional, gold-embossed handwritten invitation," according to the Daily Mail.
Several European royals have already RSVPed including one of William's godfathers, King Constantine, the former ruler of Greece. A spokesman for him and his wife Queen Anne-Marie and their son Crown Prince Pavlos confirmed to the Daily Mail that the Greek royal family received a fax and plan to attend.

Finding Bakeries That Make Square Wedding Cakes With Flowers
Better yet, if you have an event planner and they know what you are looking for, have them meet with the vendors. One thing that may help everyone is to have a picture to reference. Though there may be differences in terms of colors or type of flower, they should still be able to get the idea of what you want.
Another thing you will want to look for in your special dessert is to make sure it is tasty. For some reason, whether or not the cake was good is something a lot guests remember long after the big day is over. This special trip is a good way to get your fiance involved in the planning process, so bring him along.
If you are having trouble finding someone who can make the design you are looking for, ask your friends if they recommend anyone. If nothing else, they can tell you their experiences and if they liked how well their baker did. They will also be able to tell you if they did not like the person they chose.
One way to find out if your preferred bakery can do the design you like is to ask to see pictures of what they have done in the past. If square wedding cakes with flowers are not in their book, they may still have done something similar. Maybe they could come up with a design for you ahead of time to reassure you they can get you the dessert you want.
You should also find out what the delivery and set up procedures will be. You want to be sure the baker will take care of all of that on your big day. Make sure you ask about insurance in case someone knocks over the cake table too.
